US Customs and Immigration forms are enclosed inside your tickets if you are travelling to, or through the United States from Canada. If you are connecting through the United States on your return from another country, you'll need another form for that inspection as well. If you did not receive a US Customs form in your tickets, or if your tickets are airport pickup, they are readily available at the airport check in. Travel from a US Airport by Canadian citizen does NOT require a US Customs form. For example, if you are flying from Buffalo Airport, you will clear US Customs when you drive over the border, and NOT at the airport. The US Federal Government maintains a database that is checked for criminal records and those persons banned from entry into the United States at Toronto Airport. Non Canadian and American Citizens should advise us immediately of their citizenship. A visa waiver form can be obtained for travel into the United States by airline, when coming from another country (including Canada), if the country participates with the US Government in this program. Most EU countries participate in the visa waiver program. Driving across a Canada/US border crossing can be a slow process however, as paperwork and inspection fees need to be processed. |
