It is imperative that you carefully read all documents generated with respect to your travel arrangements upon receipt (emails, faxes, invoices, confirmations, itineraries, tickets, vouchers). It surprises us how often seasoned travellers do not even open their tickets, or review their itinerary until the day before travel, or worse, at the airport. We snail mail all invoice/itinerary confirmations to you for your review, and it is important that you check all aspects of these documents for any errors. Common errors are failure by customers to advise us of first legal names, rather than nicknames. Your tickets must match your official documentation, such as your passport or birth certificate. If you have recently changed your name, you'll need to ensure that your documentation matches by either getting a new passport, or changing your ticket - which can be impossible or very costly. It is also important that you review the itinerary carefully, including the dates (day of week, date, month), times, airlines, hotels, meal plans, etc. If there is a discrepancy in what is booked, versus what you think should have been booked, we can often correct it for little or no cost if notified well in advance of travel. If one procrastinates in reviewing any of these documents, it may be impossible or costly to make the desired changes.
If you do not receive either an electronic confirmation within 24 hours of booking, or a mailed confirmation within 3 business days of booking, please contact your booking agent immediately.
