Dining.
Dining continues to be where the industry leads land-based holidays. The size and efficiency of their operations allow for more food choice, more preparation styles, and better service. If you have special dietary requirements (vegetarian, kosher, Muslim, non-dairy, low fat, etc) we can advise the cruise line, and you will be accommodated better than you likely would be on a tour or hotel restaurant. There is a great deal of comfort in not worrying about food while on holidays. Some cruises offer flexible dining options, where you are not seated on a specific dining time. Up until very recently, most cruise ships had either a main seating (6:00 - 6:30pm start) or a late seating (8:00pm start). Normally the dining selection is made at the time of booking. Most of the time, the cruise line is able to confirm the dining selection, but oftentimes it is simply a request. If the dinner seating is already booked, it is often possible to waitlist for the seating you would prefer, and you would normally attempt to confirm it upon arrival. If you are travelling with other people, we can cross-reference your files for dining, even if they did not book through us. This way you will be seated together. The dining room manager normally makes seating arrangements before setting sail on the first day - table requests and seating changes can be done at this time by visiting them after check-in. |
