Advantages of Choice.
Choice is the big advantage of cruising. Land holidays require logistical considerations such as choosing a hotel in a location that is suitable for your needs. Is the hotel close to shopping, restaurants, bars, casinos, show lounges, medical services, and bank machines? Simply getting an ice cream cone when you feel like it can be a frustrating experience if you are not in the right location. On a cruise, there is no need to pick up newspapers and flyers to find things to do; there are no directions to get, no taxis to hail, and no cars to park. Best yet, if you are travelling with companions that have different tastes and needs, a cruise offers something for everyone within a five-minute walk of your bed. A lot of married couples even differ in their tastes. One partner likes to stay up late and dance the night away in a crowded disco, the other prefers to sit in quiet conversation with light jazz, and head to bed early. Especially when travelling with other couples or in small groups, cruising allows everyone the choice to do what they want, when they want. When your partner wants to rise early and go for a jog on the jogging track, you can still sleep-in knowing breakfast will still be available with no hassle. |
