Air Transat has the cheap flights to Edinburgh locked up. Quite often, last minute charter airfare to Edinburgh is much more reasonably priced than schedule options with connections. There are only flights twice a week from Toronto to Edinburgh with great fares, so you may want to also check flights to Glasgow. If you are departing from some other point in Canada, you cannot fly non stop without connecting through London or some other point. Airfares to Edinburgh from cities where charters do not fly will likely be expensive. Consider flying into Glasgow, as there are twice weekly flights from Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa and Halifax, and nearly daily flights from Toronto. It’s about a three hour drive between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
